Information Visitors Provide
Search Entries
When a visitor enters a name, location, or similar term into a search tool, that query is sent to the third-party provider that powers the tool. Adams County Inmate Population does not keep its own separate log of those search terms.
Messages
If a visitor sends an email or contact message, the submitted name, address, message text, and related details may be kept long enough to review and respond. Those messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is legally required.
Technical Data Collected Automatically
Like most websites, the site may receive routine technical information when a page loads or a link is used.

- Browser name, browser version, and language settings.
- Device type, screen information, and operating system.
- Pages viewed and approximate time spent on those pages.
- Referring website or search source, when available.
- Date and time stamps connected with visits and requests.
Cookies
Cookies and similar tools may be used to understand site traffic, remember technical preferences, and measure how pages perform. A visitor can block or delete cookies in browser settings, although some features or advertising functions may work differently after cookies are blocked.
How Information Is Used
- To operate the site and keep pages loading properly.
- To send search requests to the correct partner service.
- To understand which Adams County jail, court, and locator pages are useful.
- To diagnose broken links, errors, abuse, or security issues.

Outside Websites and Official Portals
Adams County Inmate Population links to sheriff pages, jail visitor information, Idaho iCourt, IDOC Resident/Client Search, BOP, ICE ODLS, VINELink, and other public or third-party resources. Once a visitor leaves this site, the destination site's privacy policy and data practices control.
Advertising partners may use their own cookies, pixels, or similar technologies to measure ads or deliver interest-based advertising across websites. That tracking occurs on the partner's systems, not as an official Adams County or Idaho government service.
