Contacts

This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm whether someone is in custody, release anyone, post bond, retrieve official records for you, or change a sheriff, court, jail, IDOC, BOP, ICE, or VINELink record. Use the official contacts below for those tasks.

Where to Start for Adams County Records

For a person who may be held locally, begin with the Adams County Sheriff's Office and Adams County Jail. The county did not publish a separate public online jail roster in the research materials, so phone contact and the sheriff records form are the local fallback channels.

Sheriff Public Records Request

Use the Adams County Sheriff's Office public-records form for booking records, jail records, incident reports, and releasable booking photos.

Sheriff records request form

The form states that the agency has 3 working days to reply or to notify the requester that more time is needed.

Copies under 100 pages are listed as no-cost; larger copy jobs, redaction time, employee time over 2 person hours, overtime, and photo, tape, or video duplication may require prepaid fees under the form's terms.

  • For current local custody questions, call the sheriff or jail and provide the person's full legal name, date of birth if known, and approximate arrest date.
  • For local booking records, start with jail inmate records and then use the sheriff records form if a record is not online.
  • For booking photos, see jail roster mugshots and request a releasable booking photo from the sheriff if needed.
  • For charges filed after arrest, use court records after a jail arrest and the Idaho iCourt portal.
  • For the county detention facility, use Adams County Jail.

Court and Prosecutor Contacts

Court records and prosecution records are separate from jail custody records. A booking entry may show arrest or hold information, while the court case shows formal filings, hearings, dispositions, and other case events that are public under Idaho Court Administrative Rule 32 unless restricted or sealed.

State, Federal, Immigration, and Notification Systems

If the person is not in Adams County Jail, the record may belong to a different custody system. State-sentenced Idaho prisoners are searched through IDOC, federal prisoners through BOP, immigration detainees through ICE, and custody notification through VINELink when the relevant data is available.
